I created and illustrated this book’s history entirely, and it is a non-textbook intended for young children. History is often based on children’s imagination to explain things, especially magically, because they cannot yet understand certain concepts, such as the universe and science. For example, we all ask our parents what the moon, clouds, sun, or stars are, and they try to provide a simple explanation. However, as children, we tend to reject the notion that something so unique could be just a floating rock or a fireball. It seems too easy and untrue. Instead, we believe it must have been created through magic, by a dragon, or something equally fantastical.
