This zine was created for: The Center of Memory and Learning.  This is an educational zine that delves into the history of the South African liberation struggle, with a focus on the role of women in the fight against apartheid. Although I’m not part of the black community’s history, I’m a supporter and want to represent their fight as accurately and simply as possible for a young audience. The zine will be used in workshops and schools for children between 10 and 14. The project aims to develop understanding and connect people to the fight against apartheid and racial injustice.
